The Trees
Gum Trees
Eucalyptus trees, commonly known as gum trees, get their nickname from the sticky sap, known as kino, that oozes from the bark. These iconic Australian trees fall into three distinct genera - Eucalyptus, Corymbia, Angophora. A feast for the senses, they drip sap, ring with the sound of bees, birds and mammals, and fill the air with peppermint and honey scents. Their barks are works of art.
